Dear Parents,

 

My name is Soriya Sem Szilagyi, and I'm from the beautiful country of Cambodia. I came to the U.S. on an academic scholarship and received my bachelor’s degree in Christian Elementary Education in the states. I completed my student training right here in Cheyenne, WY at Laura E. Mason Christian Academy, and I’m very happy to have been asked back to be the school’s teacher and principal. 

 

If there’s one thing that I want you to know about me, it’s that I really love children. Each of my students is a unique individual, precious in God’s sight, and special to me. 

 

I believe true education involves the training of the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. I’m committed to providing your child with a strong academic program, with daily opportunities for physical development, with faithful instruction in how to relate to others socially, and most important of all, with opportunities to learn about and fall in love with Jesus. 

 

It is of the utmost importance to me that all students be afforded a safe learning environment, free from anxiety and fear. I have dedicated myself to modeling Christian behavior, will take every opportunity to teach lessons of kindness, respect for others, and self-control, and will enforce our school policy on bullying.
